Valentine's Day!

I have always loved Valentine's Day. Every year since I have been married I decorate the night before so my family can be "surprised" on Vals Day. I save the same decorations year after year. Sometimes I like to mix it up a bit and add something new. A lot of the decorations you see in the pictures, like the cut out hearts, are the same ones I have used since the year 2001. Yet my kids still act and seem surprised year after year. I am guessing that when they are 16-18 years old they will probably tell me that it would be okay to stop this tradition. My kids are having so much fun today. Peyton especially has been so excited about going to school and passing out her valentines. Ruby's been enjoying all of the chocolate. She has been stuffing her mouth. I don't think I even gave candy to my other kids when they were her age. In the picture I posted of her, she just climbed up on the chair and helped herself. She had so much in her mouth she started gagging.

That is so cute. Maybe next year I will decorate my house cute like that, I'm sure my kids would love it too. I can't believe how BIG your kids are!

I have that same "love" decoration for the dollar section at Target last year.

Great job decorating btw.

Ruby is getting so big. She's so cute and sweet. Ava too, ate entirely too much candy and ended up purging it all in the middle of the night. Good times.

Love the decorations, but I think your kids even when they are 18 will still love the hearts on the floor.

I love how you use the same decorations. Your kids will think that the decorations are even cooler when they are 18 because they will be "vintage". Ruby is so big. Babies grow too fast!
