Shae

A week or 2 ago, Shae started pulling himself up to stand. When he does it, the look on his face is so funny. He looks so proud of himself. Again, Sydney is happy just sitting in one place.

Sydney and Shae with Grandma

A few weeks ago we met up with some old friends and went to Kyak Point. My niece and nephews where there too. I had not been there is years and I had forgotten how nice the beach is and how fun it is. My kids really loved it.

Twins 10 months

The twins are still doing well. They are learning to eat solid food better and pick it up themselves. Shae learned to crawl a few weeks ago. He is already getting in to everything. I am not used to that. He is my first kid that is everywhere and into whatever he can get his hands on. I may have to actually childproof for the first time. Sydney does not crawl, but seems like she could care less. She likes to just sit in one place and play with what is next to her. They are both sleeping thourgh the night now! 10-12 hours straight. I lost my camera for the majority of thier 10th month, so I do not take very many pictures of them.

July

July came and went and I forgot to post. We had two birthdays. Ruby turned 3 on the 19 and Kai turned 6 on the 30th. For Ruby's birthday we had the family over for cake and ice cream then we went to the mall and Ruby got a build a bear and got her ears pieced. It was a lot of fun, I think Ruby really enjoyed herself.
The night before every ones birthday I always decorate. Well, the night before Kai's b-day was record breaking high temperatures. I was not excited about getting up and chairs and taping streamers up while dripping down sweat. I did it anyway, I could not miss even one year. I could not find the tape so I used some tape from work that we use to tape down IV's . It sticks to people very well, but apparently not to the walls. I was so upset all that sweaty hard work to wake up and most to the decorations were on the floor. Oh well, it was the thought. Kai did not seem to upset. For his birthday, we let him choose what he wanted to do. He wanted to go see Transformers with his Dad and his cousin Colin. I heard they had so much fun. He got a remote controlled robot. The weekend after his birthday we went to Zak's parents house for cake and ice cream. Kai requested a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and he wanted it to be big and tall. I made a three layer cake that started to collapse and fall apart. I was able to salvage the bottom two layers though. It worked out okay. I also forgot to take pictures of Kai's b-day. I dont know what my problem was that day :)
